Release Management

Witboost follows a structured, predictable release process designed for enterprise stability and security.

Key Principles

  • Predictable cadence — Major releases are published as needed, annually or less frequently, while minor releases, patches, and security hotfixes follow the regular release process
  • Upward compatibility — All updates are designed so that customer configurations, customisations, and integrations continue to work without restriction after rollout
  • Pre-production validation — Customers always have the opportunity to verify compatibility in a test/acceptance environment before applying any update
  • Secure SDLC — Every release goes through threat modeling, static/dynamic analysis, dependency scanning, code review, and penetration testing

For the complete release management process, including API versioning, migration support, release notes policy, and SSDLC details, see the Agile Lab Release Management Handbook.

For secure development practices, see the Security Handbook.
